Burberry Polo Outlet Hunger Games Breaki

It's FINALLY happened!!

Lionsgate has chosen Burberry Factory Outlet their District 4 Champ Finnick Odair!

The part of the seskiest killer in Panem goesBuy Burberry Outlet too…. Sam Claflin!

Yup! The British hunk from Snow White and the Huntsman has reportedly been awarded the most Buy Burberry Bags sought after role of the Hunger Games sequel!

For a while we were rooting for 90210 sexpot Trevor Donovan. But when he took his name out of the running, Buy Burberry Handbags USA we didn't have a clue as to who the studio would choose.

Sam is certainly an attractive boy, but does he Burberry Polo Shirts have what it takes to seduce the world??

What do U think, Tributes? Is Sam a Finnick pick?

Also, if you're unfamiliar with Morgan, he's worked on The Queen and Frost/Nixon… both of which Buy Burberry Online arned him an Oscar no. Sooo yeah, there's a lot of talent there! Obviously…

So on to the next challenge! Who will play all of his major girlfriends?

Burberry UK Online Somali lawmaker kill

MOGADISHU - A car bomb killed a Somali lawmaker allied to the president, an official said on Monday, in an attack claimed by the al Shabaab militant group that is fighting the Western-backed Burberry UK Online government.

The insurgents, who want to implement their strict interpretation of sharia across Somalia, have been under increased pressure since African Union troops and Western-backed government soldiers Buy Burberry Online drove them out of the capital Mogadishu last year.

Kenyan and Ethiopian troops have also attacked them in areas they control in the south and center of the lawless Horn of Africa country. The militants have, however, still managed to launch Buy Burberry Outlet USA large-scale attacks in Mogadishu.

"The MP himself was driving the car. A bomb had been placed in his car without his awareness," deputy Mogadishu Mayor Warsame Mohamed told reporters.

"The MP died. His flesh and documents are in the car," said Mohamed, referring to Mohamud Abdi Ibrahim, who was also a former minister for humanitarian affairs and trade.

Al Shabaab claimed the attack shortly afterwards.

"We targeted the MP and killed him with an assassination Shop Burberry Handbags bomb," Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, spokesman for al Shabaab's military operations, said. "We managed to place a bomb in his car. Government officials and those who work with them are infidels."

Mohamud was known to be close to President Sheikh Sharif Burberry Polo Outlet Ahmed. They belonged to the alliance that entered the government in 2009 through a power-sharing deal in Djibouti.

Burberry UK Online Syria refusing visas

GENEVA - Syria is refusing visas to Western aid workers, hampering United Nations efforts to expand further its humanitarian operation to meet growing needs in the conflict-torn country, a senior U.N. aid official said on Monday.

Some 1.5 million people require assistance in Syria amid escalating violence and "political failure" to resolve the Burberry UK Online crisis, John Ging told reporters in Geneva.

Insecurity remains a tremendous challenge as fighting prevents aid agencies from reaching increasingly hungry and desperate civilians in flashpoint areas including Homs, he said.

"We have a number of visas pending for international staff from a number of Western countries - the United States, Canada, Buy Burberry Online the UK, France and one or two more - that are refused their visas because of their nationalities," said Ging, of the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

"That is something we object to very strongly and are Buy Burberry Outlet USA working with the Syrian government to overcome," he said after chairing the Fourth Syrian Humanitarian Forum in Geneva.

The world body now deploys some 60 expatriate staff in Syria, where U.N. officials were taking up the key issue of blocked visas "on a daily basis" with Damascus, he said.

Otherwise, Syria is largely respecting an agreement reached in June, he said. The U.N. has opened offices in 7 locations and is delivering aid mainly via the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and others to people in all 14 provinces affected by the conflict.

Clashes between rebels and government forces erupted for a second day in the Syrian capital on Monday, activists said, in some of the fiercest fighting to hit Damascus since the 17-month-old revolt Shop Burberry Handbags against President Bashar al-Assad began.

"We have to live with the consequences of political failure, with the consequences of the brutality of this conflict on the lives and livelihoods of ordinary innocent people," Ging said.

Claus Sorensen, director-general of the European Community Humanitarian Office , told reporters: "The real tragedy here ... is that with every hour and every day that passes without a political settlement, we will be faced with increased humanitarian needs."

Dorothy Shea, a senior official of the U.S. Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, called on all sides to allow unimpeded access for humanitarian agencies. The wounded and sick are being Burberry Polo Outlet denied safe and equitable health care, she said.

"We note credible reports that individuals presenting themselves at hospitals and government-run health facilities have faced abuse from regime forces," Shea said in a statement issued later by the U.S. diplomatic mission in Geneva.

WHEAT HARVEST DROPS

Ging said Syria's wheat harvest would fall by more than 700,000 tonnes this year, citing the result of a survey carried out by two U.N. agencies, the World Food Programme and Food and Agriculture Organization , due to be issued soon.

"That is something we need to be prepared to cope with because there will be less wheat on the market," he told Reuters.

Syria consumes 4 million to 5 million tonnes of wheat a year but harvests over the last six years have fallen short of that, partly due to drought, forcing the country to import wheat.

The WFP - whose food rations are distributed by the Red Crescent - aims to feed 850,000 people in Syria in July, up from 500,000 in June, Ging said. "The principal challenge is insecurity on the ground and also a shortage in funding.

"The message from the humanitarian agencies is we need more money. If we don't get more money, people will die and there will be more humanitarian suffering," he said.

Two separate U.N. appeals - $180 million for humanitarian needs inside Syria and $193 million to help Syrian refugees who have fled abroad - are only 20 percent funded, he said.

Some 112,000 Syrian refugees have now registered with the U.N. refugee agency in four countries - Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Iraq, UNHCR official Panos Moumtzis told reporters.

Burberry UK Online Secretive North Korea

SEOUL - North Korea's ruling party has removed a top military official close to the center of power, suggesting new leader Kim Jong-un and his closest advisers may be purging the ruling elite to strengthen their grip on the secretive state.

It is the latest surprise from the young Kim, who last week stunned observers by jazzing up the ruling family dynasty's normally dour image when he appeared on state television in the company of Burberry Polo Outlet a mystery young woman, cheerfully applauding scantily dressed female pop singers.

Vice Marshal Ri Yong-ho, who was seen as close to Kim's dictator father Kim Jong-il, was relieved of his posts in the Workers' Party of Korea at a politburo meeting on Sunday, including the powerful role of vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, the state KCNA news Burberry Polo Shirts agency said on Monday.

Illness was given as the reason for the move on Ri, who is 70 years old, according to a South Korean government database. Health is often used as the reason when senior officials are sacked.

"This is a sudden move, one that you could call a purge," said Cho Min of South Korea's Institute for National Unification, who studies the North's leadership and its tactics.

In Washington, spokesmen for the State Department and Shop Burberry Handbags Pentagon said they were aware of the reports but declined to speculate as to what motivated them.

"We're not in a position to comment on the accuracy of these news reports, but changes in personnel absent a fundamental change in direction mean little," said State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell.

Ventrell repeated a long-standing U.S. call for Pyongyang to return to negotiations on dismantling North Korea's nuclear weapons in exchange for economic aid and diplomatic recognition. These talks have Buy Burberry Handbags USA been stalled since 2008.

North Korea should take steps including "verifying all denuclearization and addressing the needs of its people by educating and feeding them rather than pouring scarce resources into nuclear missile and other military programs," he said.

POWER STRUGGLE, REASONS UNCLEAR

Ri showed no sign of ill-health when he was seen in public a week ago with Kim Jong-un and senior military officials visiting a memorial in the capital Pyongyang honoring the founder of the state Kim Il-sung, and the current ruler's grandfather, on the anniversary of his death in 1994.

It was not clear from the brief KCNA report whether Ri, a career officer who rapidly rose through to top ranks of the army in recent years culminating in the appointment as chief of general staff, was also relieved of his military posts.

"The reason would be all speculation, but you might say Ri may have tried to firm up his own position which may have been to the dislike of Jang Song-thaek and Choe Ryong-hae," said Cho.

Jang is the young leader's uncle by marriage to Kim Buy Burberry Outlet USA Jong-il's sister. He is believed to be the real power behind the throne in the impoverished state as chief adviser to his nephew, who is in his late 20s.

Choe is a senior party official who has taken on an increasingly powerful role within the political apparatus of the military in a state ruled by the "military-first policy," or Songun, preached by Kim Jong-il.

Kim Jong-un took power after his father died in December.

Bruce Klingner, a Korea expert at the Heritage Foundation in Washington and a former U.S. intelligence analyst, said Ri's removal was indicative of a power struggle.

"But what's less certain is who's struggling against whom," he said.

Klingner said the murky nature of North Korean politics made it hard to discern which of the "four Ps" - power, people, positions or policy - was being contested in Pyongyang.

"I think it could be a struggle over power, people or positions, but not necessarily policy," said Klingner, adding that Kim Jong-un had shown changes in style, but not substantially departed from his father's policies.

Experts say there is heavy pressure on the new leadership not only to establish its political legitimacy, but also to ease discontent among an impoverished public.

The rule of Kim's father saw the economy dragged deeper into poverty as a result of mismanagement and increasingly tough international sanctions over his efforts to develop a more lethal armory, including nuclear weapons.

By the time Kim Jong-il died, North Korea could not feed itself even during good harvests and had become heavily dependent on help from neighboring China to feed a population of 24 million.

Ri was a member of an eight-man procession which walked with the hearse carrying Kim Jong-il in a state funeral in December, and was subsequently seen at the new leader's side.

"'Due to illness' has to be an excuse, I think," said Kim Yong-hyun who teaches North Korea studies at Seoul's Dongguk University. "It is more likely the result of a power struggle that is shaping up in the Kim Jong-un regime."

Cho of the Korea Institute for National Unification said he believed the plan to oust Ri had been in the making for several months.

"This is likely the conclusion, rather than the beginning, of a series of moves to reshuffle the military. I believe 200 mid-level officers in the military have already been removed as part of Jang and Choe's reorganization of the country."

Buy Burberry Outlet USA Steven Tyler exi

NEW YORK (AP) — Steven Tyler says he's exiting "American Idol" to put rock 'n' roll first.

Tyler said he's leaving the hit show after two seasons to rededicate himself to Aerosmith, the band he fronts. Burberry Factory Outlet The rock star said he loved every minute on the hit Fox singing contest but added, "it's time to bring rock back."

"After some long ... hard ... thoughts ... I've decided it's time for me to let go of my mistress 'American Idol' before she boils my rabbit," Tyler said in a statement, making a Buy Burberry Outlet joking reference to the 1987 Michael Douglas-Glenn Close thriller "Fatal Attraction."

"I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I'm back — but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I got two Buy Burberry Bags fists in the air and I'm kicking the door open with my band."

The band is currently on a nationwide tour with Tyler and has an album due out in the fall.

Tyler's "Idol" departure leaves original judge Shop Burberry Handbags Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, but the singer-actress' future with the show is cloudy.

In a phone interview with The Associated Press as the news about Tyler broke, Lopez said she was saddened to hear that he was leaving.

"I can't even imagine anyone else there right now because I've just spent two years sitting next to him," she said. "I love Steven, and we became close during that time. We were a great support for each other, on an adventure that neither one of us knew what it was going to be. So it's hard to hear that he won't be doing it."

Lopez also said Tyler's departure will play a role in her decision to stay or go. She has already expressed that Burberry Polo Outlet there is a good likelihood that she will not be back.

"All hope is never lost, not all hope, but at the same time, there are too many things that I need to think about," she said. "I know they want me back, I know that I want to go back, but it's not as simple as that. When I started 'Idol' ... I signed on for one year. I didn't even think about doing it for two years, let alone three years. To make the decision to go back a second year was a big deal for me."

The change in the judging panel comes as "Idol" comes off a season of ratings erosion. Its finale, which saw Phillip Phillips crowned as the new "American Idol," drew 21.5 million viewers, the lowest in its 11-season history.

The Fox competition, which started off with Jackson, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul as judges, has made various judging changes over the years. Ellen DeGeneres joined one season, and songwriter Kara DioGuardi was added as a fourth judge while Cowell and Abdul were still a part of the panel.

The addition of Tyler and Lopez two years ago added fresh star power to a show that, while still a powerhouse, was seeing its audience slowly wane, due to its long tenure and the flood of other talent shows on the TV airwaves.

Tyler added a raucous and sometimes flirtatious personality to the mix, while Lopez was much like Abdul's role as the nurturer and supporter. No one has had the acerbic tone that made Cowell the celebrated villain of the show for years; he's now on his own show, "X-Factor," which recently went through its own judging shakeup and added Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.

"Idol" creator Simon Fuller lauded Tyler's contribution.

"Steven Tyler is a real 'Idol,' a rock legend. If you had told me 10 years ago he would be a judge on 'American Idol,' I would have thought it impossible," Fuller said in a statement. "The fact that this became a reality and we had the pleasure of him gracing our stage for two seasons makes me very proud. I completely understand his desire to get back to his life as the singer in America's greatest-ever rock band. 'American Idol' will miss him!"

Buy Burberry Outlet USA 'Camp Keller' ma

When deputies searched the Rattlesnake Ridge bunker built by Peter Keller, the survivalist who killed his wife and 18-year-old daughter in April, they found a videotape the North Bend man made describing his plan for "the end"

His ramblings tried to justify his actions – talking in a chilling, matter-of-fact way how he would commit his crimes. Burberry Factory Outlet Keller kept the tape among a stockpile of ammunition and weapons, improvised explosive devices and his bulletproof vest.

"It's just going to be a point of, you know, go as far as I can," Keller said, holding the digital recorder pointed towards his face. "I do have my escape and that's death – can always shoot myself. And I'm OK with that.

"I'm getting to the point where just try to live and pay bills and live as a civilian, go to work – it just freaks me out. It's actually more comfortable for me to think about living out here robbing banks, pharmacies, just taking what I want for as long as I can.

"At least it will be exciting," later noting that he won't have to worry about his wife or daughter he killed weeks later.

Deputies said the footage would be released Thursday because the investigation is completed, and lead detective Robin Cleary can prove Keller was the killer. Dozens of photographs shown provide more intricate details of Keller's bunker were also shown by investigators.

In one point on camera, Keller acknowledged he used to Buy Burberry Outlet think himself that his actions were crazy.

"And then I'd think about it and it would make sense," he said. "And it's like, 'OK, this is what I gotta do.'"

His sketches on notebook paper from 2003 show what the bunker became, and included Keller's notes about how he wanted a laboratory space to study viruses. The deranged 41-year-old had documented his work running PVC pipes to the bunker, diverting water from a nearby stream. A rope and pulley system was used to pull larger logs in place. His bunker even had an elaborate cement foundation and wood-burning stove.

One of the dozens of digital photographs detectives found in Keller's home – photos he meant to have burned in the arson – helped detectives identify where the bunker was located by showing power lines and the North Bend outlet mall.

It was the quick 911 call from a neighbor that Buy Burberry Outlet USA allowed firefighters to recover those telling images from an open safe inside the Keller home.

On Thursday, family members of Lynnettee and Kaylene Keller thanked that neighbor, the people who called in tips about Peter Keller's red truck, and the deputies who kept more people from being killed.

They also discussed a scholarship fund established in their relatives' memory. The scholarship, established at The Seattle Foundation, will be used to support students who want to attend Redmond's DigiPen Institute of Technology as Kaylene had wanted.

Some of the money for scholarship fund is expected to come from the tens of thousands of dollars found in bundles in Shop Burberry Handbags Peter Keller's wilderness bunker.

Fearing the end of the world

Peter Keller feared the end of the world was near. He was ready for it, having spent eight years on the elaborate bunker he called "Camp Keller" and stocking it with weapons and explosives. Before returning to his mountain redoubt a final time for a standoff with SWAT officers, Keller killed his wife and daughter, then set their house ablaze.

Investigators still don't have a clear motive for why he took the lives of those closest to him, though case documents shed some light on his twisted life that ended after police surrounded him April 27.

Only two weeks before the April 22 murders and arson, Peter Keller's 19-year-old daughter had revealed to her boyfriend that her father was building "Camp Keller" in preparation for the end of the world. While his immediate family had seen at least one picture, neither they nor Keller's coworkers are believed to have known its exact location.

Investigation documents show Keller was controlling and cagey with money, to the point where his disabled wife would have to borrow money from family members. Her only consistent Burberry Polo Outlet income, deputies say, was a state disability payment she got after a workplace accident several years ago.

"Camp Keller" was powered by a generator, had stacks of ammunition boxes in Ziploc bags, several high-powered rifles and was camouflaged with ferns and sticks. But Keller, who also had a scope and body armor, didn't use his stockpile of high-powered rifles against deputies.

The 41-year-old killed himself with a pistol inside the bunker and was found April 28 after a nearly day-long standoff. An autopsy showed he'd put the handgun is his mouth the previous night.

About 8:45 a.m. April 22, firefighters responded to Keller's home in the 47200 block of Southeast 159th Street in North Bend. Crews immediately suspected arson, finding seven gas cans on the floor and the front door blocked with stereo equipment and furniture.

Keller was suspected immediately after the arson and investigators worked to get his phone records the same day his wife and daughter were found dead. Those phone records also helped narrow the search for "Camp Keller."

Cabin stocked in the woods

Peter Keller hadn't used his cell phone since 8:47 p.m. April 20. That call registered on a cell tower near the 6800 block of Lake Alice Road Southeast – roughly seven miles from "Camp Keller."

Keller's father, who hadn't spoken to his son since November 2011, didn't have any clues for investigators and neither did Peter Keller's coworkers at Solar Systems in Preston. His daughter's boyfriend also told them he couldn't think of a motive for the killings.

Peter Keller's wife, Lynnettee, stayed home often and was an avid scrapbooker who posted scrapbooking videos online. A California native and 1989 graduate of Aloha High School in Oregon, she sold her crafts at fairs and online.

Because Peter Keller was controlling with household finances in multiple bank accounts, his wife would sometimes ask her father or stepfather to pay for various expenses, according to investigation documents.

Keller had previously told family members that Peter had established a "fairly sizable" cash savings and that she believed that when he retired they were likely going to be millionaires, Sheriff's documents show.

It's believed that Lynnettee Keller and her daughter had seen a photo of "Camp Keller," but weren't told where to find it – and it's not clear when exactly they saw that image. Deputies were told Peter Keller was a loner who would often leave from "Camp Keller" about 10 a.m. on weekends and return home about 4 p.m.

Shortly after 1 p.m. the day of the arson, a King County Superior Court judge approved a search warrant by telephone, and detectives searched the house about the same time a medical examiner initially checked his dead family members.

A spent shell casing was found in Lynnettee Keller's hair.

Her daughter, Kaylene, last talked to her boyfriend April 21, but everything seemed fine, according to investigators. Cell records show Lynnettee Keller last used her phone at or near her home about 9 p.m. April 21 – hours before she and Kaylene were killed there.

Smoldering combustibles reignited after the initial blaze, and crews from Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the North Bend home a second time before the detective's search to douse the interior of the home. Still, investigators were able to pull several electronics that helped in the search for Keller.

Detectives seized a Hewlett-Packard laptop, a Seagate laptop hard drive, a desktop computer tower, a USB-powered Western Digital external hard drive, a Sprint cell phone believed to belong to Keller's daughter, 21 media discs and an xBox 360 console.

Investigators also saw ammunition and gun cases, but no guns were there.

Kaylene Keller, a Mount Si High School graduate who was attending Bellevue Community College, had been dating her boyfriend for about a year. He told police he spent several days a week at the Keller home, but didn't talk much with her father.

However, Peter Keller had shown the boyfriend his gun collection that included several pistols and large-caliber rifles, including an AR-15, according to investigation documents.

Search for 'Camp Keller'

Deputies completed their search of the Keller home the day after the arson, but returned April 24 after reviewing a plot map and determining the property had an odd hour glass-shaped perimeter, including an out building and tarp-covered wooden structures not initially searched.

Deputies reviewed Peter Keller's cell phone records and cell tower information for the past three months trying to determine his general whereabouts and the location of "Camp Keller."

His bunker was found tucked into Rattlesnake Ridge with more than a dozen guns, propane tanks, gas cans, binoculars and stacks of ammunition. Photos from Keller's computers helped pinpoint the location, along with hikers who remembered seeing his red 1994 Toyota pickup at the Rattlesnake Ridge trailhead.

During the search, two deputies disguised themselves as locals on a Rattlesnake Ridge day trip and searched for clues while trying to avoid Keller's scope. They noticed off-trail prints that appeared to come from military-style boots and smelled smoke from what turned out to be the "Camp Keller" woodstove.

SWAT members moved into position and watched lights going on and off in the bunker Friday night. But tear gas didn't force him out, either because it wasn't ledged deep enough or Keller was prepared with a gas mask.

He'd been charged with killing his wife and daughter and burning during the North Bend house. Before the killings, Keller withdrew $6,200 from a bank account and told one of his co-workers he might not return.

At 7:34 a.m. Apri l 27, Sgt. Cindi West sent a note to Seattle-area reporters asking that the location of the search for Keller – just south of Interstate 90 off exit 27 – not be reported for fears that Keller had a radio or scanner. The information was held for eight hours, and Saturday night West thanked those same news media outlets for not jeopardizing SWAT members.

After detectives cleared "Camp Keller" it was turned over to King County Parks. A family memorial service for Lynnette and Kaylene Keller was held May 5.

Speaking Thursday at a media briefing, Lynnettee Keller's twin sister said people who want to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Kaylene Keller Memorial Scholarship could do so at www.kaylenesfund.com.

Buy Burberry Outlet USA NBC launches 2

NEW YORK (AP) — NBC launched two mobile apps that will let people watch Olympics events as they happen, look up athlete profiles and access other extra content on their iPads, Burberry Polo Outlet iPhones and certain Android devices.

NBC said that most of the content will be available only to pay-TV subscribers who have MSBC and CNBC as part of their service. The apps — NBC Olympics and NBC Olympics Live Burberry Polo Shirts — are free to download starting Thursday.

The apps were created by Adobe Systems Inc. Adobe said NBC will receive analysis about how people interact with the content and ads on the apps. Users will be able to set reminders Shop Burberry Handbags for their favorite events, record, pause or watch clips later, and switch between camera views while they watch, said Jeremy Helfand, vice president of monetization at Adobe.

Until now, he added, online content for the Olympics has been "limited." A big reason for that is NBC has been worried that showing the games online could hurt its TV audience. Under its new Comcast Corp. ownership, NBC executives now think that the extra coverage will increase interest in the games.

NBC said this the first time that all the Buy Burberry Handbags USA Olympic events, more than 3,500 hours of coverage, will be available on smartphone and tablet computers. The 2012 Olympics will begin on July 27 with the official opening ceremony in London. In addition to the apps, NBC is also streaming events online.

Despite the popularity of the games NBC has Buy Burberry Outlet USA said that it does not expect to turn a profit on them, given the high cost of doing business in London.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the latest in the critically-acclaimed, bestselling franchise based on the Hasbro toys. Activision continues its James Bond franchise with 007 Legends, a collection of interactive stories from six Bond films, including Skyfall, Moonraker and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. The Hollywood Reporter: What is Activision doing at Comic-Con this year?

David Oxford: Activision is doing a great many things at San Diego Comic-Con this year. First, we're celebrating the launch ofThe Amazing Spider-Manby allowing fans to go beyond the film and find out what happens next in The Amazing Buy Burberry Outlet USA Spider-Man video game - which serves as an epilogue story to the movie. We're also showcasing some of the most anticipated fan-favorite games in the industry, including Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, 007 Legends, and an all–new The Walking Dead video game based on AMC's hit TV series. Oh yeah, and last but certainly not least – we're revealing a brand new super hero game during the Marvel Games panel on Saturday, July 14th.

THR: How are you working with Hollywood talent at this year's convention?

Oxford: We've got a handful of Hollywood talent scheduled to attend panels and autograph signing sessions. For Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, we have Peter Cullen (the voice of Optimus Prime), Gregg Berger (the voice of everybody's favorite Dinobot, Grimlock), and Nolan North (as the voice of Cliffjumper), set to do a panel on Sat. July, 14 at 10 a.m., and then an Shop Burberry Handbags autograph signing session at 2 p.m.

For The Amazing Spider-Man video game, we've got Bruce Campbell – who plays an 'extreme reporter' that gives Spider-Man death-defying challenges throughout the game – doing an autograph signing session also on Sat., July 14 at 4:00 p.m.

THR: How are you promoting The Amazing Spider-Man game at Comic-Con?

Oxford: We're giving fans the opportunity to go beyond the feature film and find out what happens next in The Amazing Spider-Man video game. The story/events of the game serve as an epilogue story to the film (which, if you haven't already seen it, is great!). We'll have game stations on the Burberry Polo Outlet show floor where showgoers can come up, get their hands on the game and get a taste for Spider-Man's triumphant return to free-roaming Manhattan gameplay.

THR: How have you seen the role games play at this show evolve over recent years?

Oxford: The video game industry has been consistently growing and evolving. I remember attending SDCC years ago when you were lucky to have any companies attending the show and having their games readily available for attendees to walk up and play. Now, video games are so prominent at 'the Con' that the guys running the show group all the interactive gaming companies together so that we sort of have our own corner of the show floor.

THR: Why is the Comic-Con attendee important for Activision?

Oxford: The answer to this is simple: fans are the bread and butter of video games. What better way to reward our fans then to let them play and experience our latest games in a unique and fun setting before they're available in stores.

THR: How has the growing number of international press that attends The Con influenced game activities at the show?

Oxford: What's really great about the increasing number of int'l press attending Comic-Con is that is further cements my point above regarding how far Comic-Con has grown over the years. We now look at events like SDCC and NYCC and so on as opportunities to meet with members of the press from around the world.

THR: How has Activision worked with comic book creatives over the years on the Marvel games?

Oxford: Activision has had a great, long-running partnership with Marvel Entertainment over the years. Depending on what game, we collaborate with Marvel to bring on Marvel writers, voice actors, character costumes, etc. And of course, there's the fact that a decent amount of Activision employees and members of our development studio are huge Marvel fans by nature.

THR: What impact has Comic-Con coming so close to E3 this year had on game activities?
